Key West Southern Most Car Club was started by a couple guys in the lower Keys who shared a love of cars.
The club was formed in summer of 2004 and use to meet at Knuckleheads Bar n Grill on US-1 till it closed in 2007. We just moved our meeting back to the old Knuckleheads which is now "KAYA" Restaurant, at mm 29.
In 2007 we moved our monthly Show n Shines up the Keys to mm-17 at Sugarloaf Lodge & Restaurant & Tiki Bar. We have a large area for the cars, some great palms swaying in the trade wind breezes and providing shade. We also have great visibility since we are right on the gulf side of US-1 with plenty of parking for those who wish to stop in and join us.
We hold a club meeting every 3rd Tuesday at "KAYA", the old Knuckleheads Bar @ 7:00, where we have a few cold ones, a burger, some fries, and make plans for our next show n shine or upcoming event.
On the 3rd Sunday of every month, weather permitting, (hey! we do after all live in the "sunny" keys), we hold our Show n Shine at the Sugarloaf Lodge. Look for mm-17 on US1, we are right beside in parking lot, so come on down and join us...
We are a family oriented club, for all years, makes, & models of cars, & women you are welcome bring your car on out and show it off, as we have a number of women who belong & come to shows. We have a great new sound system with a couple hundred great Oldies & Rock n Roll tunes you may remember from those younger days. We give away a People's Choice trophy each month, given to the car that receives the most votes by the people attending the show. We also try & have a 50/50 drawing, plus club hats and T-shirts for sale
If you are interested in joining our club then stop by and see us, bring your car, or call or e-mail Dick Moody or John Delamater. Club dues are just $25 a year and you get your first club hat free & the club will pay half on your club shirt should you want one. We also try to have instock T-shirts for $10 and hats for $15 at the shows

So if YOU are a car buff, a car guy or gal, have that car now that you wanted when you were cruising in high school in that old Pinto or Vega and couldn't afford. If you just love to look at cars that are clean, shinny, & old or new. If you want to talk cars, or spin other tales of yore about that fast 409 you once had, or maybe you have nothing to do that Sunday, Then by all means stop by and pay us a visit and look at some nice cars and meet some great people.
